Wear prevention for fiber machinery guides through thermal spraying.

Prevents fiber fraying due to snagging, makes thread breakage less likely, and reduces machine stops.

Wear is a significant issue in the textile industry. Despite fibers and threads being made of soft materials, wear phenomena occur due to high-speed processing. The surfaces of textile machine components must be precisely managed and require finishes suitable for winding, twisting, and spinning. Particularly when knitting from threads, fixed bars are used for direction changes and tension adjustments of the high-speed running threads, and wear in this area greatly affects production efficiency. Kurashiki Boring Machine Works offers ceramic thermal spray coatings that are optimal for the operating environments of these components.

Wear prevention for compressor cylinder through thermal spraying.

Improved wear resistance!

The compressor cylinder is expensive. Therefore, instead of scrapping it, we recommend reusing it through thermal spraying. Thermal spraying has a longer lifespan than hard chrome plating, which leads to reduced maintenance costs. In the near future, it is expected that thermal spraying of the inner surfaces of air cylinders and hydraulic cylinders will also become possible. *For more details, please refer to the related links or feel free to contact us.

Measures to prevent wear of the shovel bucket

By applying a resin lining material to the surface of the shovel bucket, durability is enhanced, allowing it to perform effectively in environments with complex deterioration factors such as corrosion from chemicals and salt.

In an environment where various deterioration factors such as severe wear on the shovel's body and bucket, cracks due to impact, corrosion from chemicals and salt, and thermal effects are compounded, applying a polyurethane resin lining to the surface will continue to protect the base part for an extended period. According to JIS standards, the paint wear test showed a film loss of 3 mg after testing, demonstrating significantly superior wear resistance compared to other lining materials, and its high weather resistance ensures stable strength outdoors for a long time. By applying polyurethane coating to particularly deteriorated parts such as bulldozer buckets, shovel components, conveyor systems, and agricultural tools like tilling blades and cutting blades, an extension of their lifespan can be expected. In the case of snowplow shovels, significant effects have been observed in wear resistance and resistance to calcium chloride, and in high-grade materials with excellent chemical resistance, long-term resistance to 50% sulfuric acid is achieved, protecting the substrate from corrosive factors (acids, alkalis, etc.).

Wear Prevention Measures Using TOP PLATE for Plants

Contributing to cost reduction through the longevity of wear-prone plant equipment!

In the plant industry, maintaining operational efficiency and reducing maintenance costs are critical challenges. A high frequency of replacement for wear-prone equipment parts leads to losses from operational downtime and increased costs for part replacements, putting pressure on expenses. Our wear-resistant clad steel plate, "TOP PLATE," achieves both high hardness and wear resistance. It can be directly processed for canning, contributing to solving these challenges. "TOP PLATE" is a clad steel plate with a super wear-resistant alloy welded onto a mild steel plate. It features high hardness and wear resistance, with minimal cracking and warping, allowing for easy wear mitigation when used in equipment parts. We offer a lineup of six types with different compositions and hardness levels to accommodate a wide range of applications. *We are currently providing materials summarizing the product features and usage examples! You can view them via "PDF Download." Please feel free to contact us for inquiries. [Usage Scenarios] - Chutes - Hoppers - Fans - Mixers - Mills - Cyclones [Benefits of Implementation] - Extended equipment lifespan - Reduced maintenance costs - Lower risk of operational downtime - Decreased part replacement costs

Wear Prevention with TOP PLATE for the Recycling Industry

Contributing to the longevity of heavily worn recycling equipment! Materials are available.

In the recycling industry, the deterioration of equipment due to wear in processes such as crushing, sorting, and transportation is a significant issue. Particularly under harsh operating conditions and with the presence of foreign materials, the frequency of equipment replacement increases, leading to decreased operational efficiency and rising costs. Our wear-resistant clad steel plate, 'TOP PLATE,' balances high hardness and wear resistance. It can be directly processed for can manufacturing, contributing to solving these challenges. 'TOP PLATE' is a clad steel plate with a super wear-resistant alloy welded onto a mild steel plate. It has high hardness and wear resistance, with minimal cracking and distortion, allowing for easy wear mitigation when used in equipment components. We offer a lineup of six types with different compositions and hardness to accommodate a wide range of applications. *We are currently providing materials summarizing the product features and usage examples! You can view them via "PDF Download." Please feel free to contact us for inquiries. [Usage Scenarios] - Crushers - Sorters - Conveyors - Hoppers [Benefits of Implementation] - Improved equipment operating rates - Reduced maintenance costs - Increased productivity
